this place doesnt really do anything for me anymore, i dont enjoy critiquing other people's work as i dont ever feel much achievement in that. To my knowledge nothing i say is REALLY ever absorped, but is kindly accepted and ignored in the future. Also half the stuff on here is my friends work, and however much i love to look at things, i see them at school anyway and its just neverending and pretty boring in all honesty. Plus, exactly what good does this place do, its not like i get offered amazing opportunities, i just dont have enough time to devote myself to dA that much.

and dont get me wrong, its not like i dont have work to submit, and i dont do art or photography as a hobbie.. cos i do, i wouldnt lie about that. But sometimes art is personal to me, and i dont want other people focusing on the bad things because what good is that gonna do it, im not gonna repeat my work to what other people would like to see..

i have plenty of work i could submit, that i do actually think is worthy.. but its mine, and i want my work for me really. Its the only place its going anyway. i have different career prospects in which my art isnt necessarily needed on here.

also i just cant compete with all this html mumbo jumbo. its not doing anything for me! also im just generally not a computer person anymore.. i avoid it really, id rather the tv.. i think im becoming less sociable lol.

ok dA isnt all bad fair dos. I've got respectable recognition on here and ive enjoyed getting nice comments.. of course more so than the bad! but i have a funny feeling noone is really interested in my work... or many peoples other work.. but more just getting comments and favourites for themselves.. at least i was like that sometimes! i find my self more self absorping nowadays, and this is just another vent for me.. and i dont like it.

anyway, my work will probably be slowly deleted from here.. and who knows i might come back one day when im reaaaaaaaaally bored! but until then.. love and all.
